About

A career built across four countries.

With more than fifteen years leading UX and digital products across fintech and enterprise tech, I build platforms used by tens of thousands and help organisations modernise without losing trust. At Europe’s longest-standing wealth institution, founded in 1737, I led the shift from legacy systems to a flexible digital ecosystem across mobile, web and data-led services, using AI where it delivers clear value.

I have worked at board level, led cross-functional teams across Europe and partnered with organisations including the CIA, UBS and Acer to turn complex systems into simple, practical and ethical solutions. I have lived and worked in Italy, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands, and I am a father of two, based in Amsterdam. I keep things transparent, measurable and kind. I bring enthusiasm and I bring change.

The journey

ITALY, SWITZERLAND, GERMANY, NETHERLANDS.

Vice President of Products

Owning the product vision and roadmap for XLINQ's software generation platform and the products built on it, for finance, healthcare and the public sector: product and UX across the teams that build the platform, plus the onboarding and training path for the business engineers who work with it. Partnering with the executive team on strategy, positioning and go-to-market as the product lines grow, such as neo-banks, KYC flows and digital ID wallets.

Van Lanschot Kempen Wealth Management
2021 — 2026Amsterdam

Chief Product Manager & Head of UX, Client Digital Experience

Led the end-to-end digital ecosystem for Europe’s longest-standing wealth institution, founded in 1737: the product and technology roadmap across mobile, web, CRM and advisory tools, and 30+ specialists in four cross-functional squads. Architected a modular platform that consolidated legacy channels, contributing to €180M revenue uplift and 107% AUM growth. Drove AI from experimentation into production — AI-assisted CRM, early Copilot use cases, agentic workflows — raising NPS by 2.8 points in the Netherlands and Belgium, supporting three post-acquisition integrations and six European awards across the FT Wealth Tech 2025 and PWM 2026.

Van Lanschot Kempen Wealth Management
2017 — 2021Amsterdam

Product Manager Mobile, UX Architect

Owned the core mobile apps for investing, wealth management, authentication and ID checks across iOS and Android, managed the UX team behind the client portals, adviser tools and digital services, and aligned mobile and UX work with the bank’s transformation strategy and long-term client goals.

Van Lanschot Private Bank
2017 — 2018Amsterdam

Head of User Experience

Led the redesign of the bank’s digital services to help it evolve from a traditional private bank into a modern wealth tech company, while keeping a personal, human feel. Built new design systems, research processes and ways of working, and helped shape the bank’s new brand and online identity — digital convenience alongside personal client support.

iO — Digital Innovation
2015 — 2017Amsterdam

Digital Strategist & Senior UX Consultant

Designed and launched Peaks for Rabobank, a retail investing app now holding €200M+ AUM with tens of thousands of recurring users. Helped fintech startups and legacy banks shape digital strategies, architecture and team structures to test and scale new propositions, and led cross-border UX and front-end practice for clients in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark and the Netherlands.

AGT International
2014 — 2015Frankfurt

Senior Product Designer / UX Strategist

Led a team building technology for intelligence and public-safety agencies with international partners including the CIA and law enforcement in London, Singapore and Abu Dhabi. Built machine-learning tools for facial recognition, surveillance and unusual-behaviour detection, legible enough to use in the field, and filed a patent for a location-based coordination tool — all under strict privacy and security standards.

BOARD International
2009 — 2014Lugano

Product Designer / Lead UX

Led product design, marketing and client onboarding for a business planning platform used by Acer, EMAAR and UBS across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Built custom experiences for finance, planning and operations teams, and worked closely with engineers — prototyping and user testing — to speed up development and help clients adopt and customise the platform.

Agentic Knowledge Engine

A wiki-backed knowledge vault operated by an AI agent: raw sources go in, cited and interlinked articles come out. It is the basis for how our teams collaborate on agentic product development — semantic memory for what is true, episodic memory for what worked last time, and retrieval that stays cheap as the vault grows.

One of three acquisitions I led from a product standpoint. Mercier Vanderlinden’s clients and advisers moved onto the group platform with no break in service, and Belgian client satisfaction went up rather than down through the transition.

The knowledge base that curates itself

Most attempts to give an AI a memory end up in a vector database you cannot read or a notes file you cannot trim. Both rot. I have been running the alternative as my daily system: a wiki an agent curates, where recall is something you can read and check rather than something you have to trust.

We are only talking about the last third of product development

Almost every talk about AI and product lands in the same place: how to get from a written spec to clean code. That is the last third of the story, and we are treating it like the whole thing. The two diamonds upstream are where AI changes the work most, and they are the part nobody is filming.

The Model Was Always the Point

Model-Driven Architecture promised in 2001 that the model, not the code, would be the primary artefact. It stalled for reasons AI has now removed. The catch is that the two translations in model-driven development want opposite tools, and in a regulated domain you keep the language model out of the runtime path.
